ANZAC weekend...

Well it's ANZAC weekend and no not a long weekend here in Vic. It has been a miserable weekend.... cold, wet and really really windy. A good weekend to stay inside and do nothing.
Actually, I think thats all I did... nothing, well not exactly.
After laundry, some maintance on the website (which always takes hours to do) I managed to mow the lawn before the skies opened up. Last night I finally made the cards for the swap at Scrap CAP while watching Richmond finally win a game. Poor Blaine tried to stay awake but fell asleep 3rd quarter and didnt see the end. 1st thing he asks this morning, did Tigers win? and did they sing the song? poor bloke. would have been nice to see him get all excited.
Well Blaine starts Auskick next weekend so cold, wet early mornings for me but I guess thats what us Mums do...
Today I spent the arvo at Lynnes with a lovely bunch of ladies at a stamping up party. Thanks Lynne for a lovely day and helping me spend more $$$. I must say there are some very nice things that I have circled in the catty that i will aim to get. Sharon is having a party in June 21st, so if you want anything give me, Fleur or Sharon a call.
I have made quiet a few cards this week but nothing exciting to share.
I have to thank all the girls that came to my postie party last Wednesay. I really appreciated it.
This week seems to be full on before it starts... Dentist Monday, back to the Paediatritian Wednesday, Swimming Thursday, Im sure there is something on Friday but for the life of me can't think of it now... Footy Saturday and that im sure will keep me out of trouble.
Don't forget Sandie will have a new challenge on her blog tomorrow....
Sharon has released round 3 for the Build It Up Comp in the forum. This weeks requirements are printed paper, punch and distressing. Join in, it's not too late and it's heaps of fun...
New monthly sketch will be up on Friday so that means you have only 4 days left to get this months entry in.
Well I think thats enough dribble for 1 post so until next time, stay warm, dry, safe and keep on chatting...

Zach is starting up Aus Kick too. I remember last year freezing my t*ts off. So not looking forward to repeating that experience. But I guess a Mum has to do...
