Merry Christmas

OMG can you believe it has been almost a month since I last posted on here... i think i am getting as bad as sorry honey....hehehe
Well whats been happening? Well yesturday was xmas day and we had a nice day with pressie opening in the morning and off to Micheles for a BBQ for lunch. I was asleep by 8.30 last night... i guess the kid in me still exsists with the 5am "santa's been"
Blaine did very well this year yith a Leapster TV game consoll that is very educational and I can see an improvement in him already.... Lego (we have been building all day. I am so suprised how clever he is) A motorbike from his Dad and a bike from the outlaws and plenty of games and vouchers. Here are some pics of xmas day and today with the lego.

We had our family lunch on Sunday which was a good day. here are some more pics....

I spent some real qaulity time with Blaine today building Lego with him. Its aged 7-14 so was thinking I would put it together and he would play but nope.. clever little bugger did it on his own. I just loved watching the concerntration and the innocence on his face and had to grab a few shots so I could do a page.

Don't forget there are 2 competitions running on Scrapbook capital ATM.....
The sketch competition and Hetty's Calendar Girl Competition.
Entries close Midnight NYE...... So get those layouts in before you pop that bubbly.......

silly season

Well there is one more sleep to the start of the silly season and i am sure we are all guilty of going a bit fruity around this time of year.
Today is your last day to upload your layouts for Novembers Sketch Competition. There is a voucher up for grabs for the winner.
Also a big thanks to everybody that took part in the November "xmas cybercrop", plenty of chatting but sad to see only 5 entries... I was really sure that people were looking forward in getting the chance of getting some freebies but who knows.... Hopefully next year the interest and participation will get grow so we can get to see all the gorgeous effort people put into this amazing hobby. There are 3 voting polls in the forum (open until Saturday 10am) for rounds 2, 3 + 4 and it would be great if you all could help choose a winner for each.
No scrapping this week...been pretty snappy and tired and lots going on with the coming of xmas and the end of kinder.
We had Blaine's Kinder parent/teacher night tonight. All went well and his report wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be apart from the 'sooky' side of it. He is a soft emotional kid.... I guess im glad he is that way rather than aggresive but hopefully a change of scenery and playing with the big kids will help him deal with this a little more.
Saturday I will be launching the Sketch for December so watch out for that and also the big revealing of CALENDAR GIRLS.... So who is going to be December's pin up girl....
This stuff is sensational and so many ways to use it.... Go to the WHATS NEW section to see this gorgeous range.

Thats just a little bit of a sneak peek....
Well I'm tired and off to bed...
keep on chatting....

Wow, another week flying by but I hope I can fill you in with whats going on before I bore you.
Tonight I took Blaine and Mum into the city to look at the Myer windows and the xmas tree. The windows of a kids book - uno's story. Not christmassy at all. Then we walked down to the tree. Even that wasnt impressive.. there was no real feel to christmas anywhere. But I did take this gorgeous shot...

a big one

well first things 1st....
1 week to get your entries in for the
Well Saturday was Paperific and it was, terrific I mean. Maybe it was because of the company I had with Michele and Jacquii, or the fact that every where I stopped I was recognised. That is an achievement in its self for me because my biggest task for my site is to get my name out there on the good! I am tossing up weather I take part on next years paperific.... It will be a massive thing for me to achieve but I figure its a great way to advertise, a great well to sell and what a way to rub shoulders....
Well even though I was so exhausted last night I managed to get 2 layouts done. I can only show you 1 ATM cos the other is for Friday nights CYBERCROP.

this is an example for the October sketch competition

The next layout is for Top 50 October sketch competition. I finally brought myself opals yesturday and I have been playing with heat embossing and I must say....i think it will be my new adiction...
