It's Jammie Day

I have been in my Jammies all day... and have loved it. It's a shame I have to goback to work tomorrow.

Well the cybercrop was on Friday night. It was a good start but hopefully more will join in on the next one already schedualed for Friday 19th October.

It is lovely to see so many new beginners taking a step out and giving it a go and the layouts look great. Here are my 3 for the weekend.

challenge 1 - purple, orange and green and the use of a dragon/butter fly

challenge 2 - double layout, black cardstock, brads, large pic and a min of 3 smaller pics..

challenge 3 - sketch

I also managed to get the top 50 sketch challenge done as well.....

A new ABC challenge has been uploaded and don't forget to keep a look out for Tuesday Twister challenge.... until then, happy scrapping......

Well all I wanted to do this weekend was to kick back and relax and boy I definetely did that Saturday. Blaine and I were both asleep at 7.30, no joke!! Today we went to the city to have a look at the Pixar 20th Year collection. Was okay but definetly not for a 4 year old. Cost us $10 each to get in and I wouldn't pay for it again. Very dissapointing I thought.. I expected to see characters and activites but it was all images and sketches... I took these pics. These were taken out in the foyer and it was free so if you just want a couple of photos, just goto the foyer and don't pay to get in!!!

As for my day, I wish I had of rolled back over this morning and not get out of bed. have you ever woken up ok then as the day went on the shittier you got, well thats me today. I have a really short fuse and I have had 4 arguements today with 4 different people....lol. Must be the day, oh well....

5 more days to weekend again :(

I need another weekend to get over this one I think.Friday night I had my annual linen party. For those who know me I have a fettish when it comes to linen. I had a great turn out and got lots which is always good.

Saturday morning I sat on this bloody slow computer changing prices in the shop for the sale.

FYI: The sale has been extended until Monday 5pm.....

anyway, did bits and pieces for the rest of the day and then went to the drive ins with my friend Anita. We saw Chuck and Larry, and boy I haven't laughed like that in ages... very funny.

We were home pretty early so i decided to do a layout which I finished this morning..

Because today was such a beautiful day, I rang Fleur and we decided to go to Mornington Railway and ride the steam train. The boys had a ball and it was a really lovely day. Thanks Fleur, Dale and Lauchy, we had heaps of fun. Check out the forum for pics...

Wow, how exciting has it been on the forum . All the girls seem to be settling in really nicely and there is a laugh to be had too. It is so exciting to meet new members and its great to see everybody getting along so well.
If you havent become a member yet, WHY NOT? it take a few seconds and costs you nothing, so why not join our little SC family.
A Designer Team will be selected in the next few weeks and challanges will be announced on Monday for those wanted to try to grab a spot. Please note, you are required to be a member (30 posts) to be elligable to enter for the DT. 30 posts is easy with this bunch of girls. There are plenty of games, questions and chatting for you to reach your goal easily.
September Sketch Competition is underway and closes Midnight 30 September. You need to be registered on the forum to enter and you will be in the chance to win a store voucher for SC to spend on what you like.
ABC challange is also underway. There will be 26 challanges for you to complete just to help you out of the scrap rut. There is no time limit and you can do as many or as little as you like BUT there will be a prize at the end of the 26 challanges for a winner who has completed all 26 challanges and has applied all requirements through each challange. It's heaps of fun so why not have a go.
Do you like to be pushed a little over the edge when it comes to scrapping? DO you have what it takes to step out of your comfort zone? Why not brave the Personal Challange . There are a few questions to answer and once I receive your answers I will design a challange simply for you. Another way to get those pages done!

It is all happening...

Well it has been a full on weekend with the launch of the forum and gallery at scrapbook CAPITAL . I have a few little glitches I am trying to fix on my own but being a little simple when it comes to computer lingo it may take a little longer... so please be patient, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Thankyou for those girls that have made this weekend an absolute pleasure. A huge thanks to Lali, Tezz, Fleur, Sammi, Sharon, Suz and Sarah for your support and well wishes. I hope the SC family gets bigger each day.
September sketch challange was launched and is now under way, and tonight I have started the ABC challange. I have also put a call out for DT members so please check out the website for more details. SC will be having it's 4th birthday on Monday 10th September so to help celebrate this MASSIVE occassion I will be having a sale THIS WEEKEND.. Savings store wide!!
